Gifts of Cash

To make a donation by check, complete our donation form and send it to us by mail at Reading-Berks Habitat for Humanity, 336 South 18th Street, Reading, PA 19602, ATTN: Donations. Credit card donations to Reading-Berks Habitat can be made by going to the Home Page and clicking on the "Paypal Donate" button. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Paypal are accepted.

Donate your Car
Cars for Homes is a truly unique, not-for-profit, car donation center. When you donate a car, truck, boat, or RV to Habitat for Humanity's Cars for Homes program, you are helping Reading-Berks Habitat for Humanity (RBHFH) build homes in partnership with families within your community!
Donating is quick and easy, and your car donation may be eligible for tax deduction purposes if you itemize (consult the IRS or your tax advisor for details).
Cars for Homes accepts a majority of cars, trucks, boats, RVs and other vehicles with title and ownership information, and makes the arrangements to have your vehicle, keys, and title picked up for processing.
Net proceeds generated by donated vehicle sales are used by RBHFH to build homes in partnership with families in our community.

Gifts in Memory, In Honor, or for a Special Occasion
You can send a gift in memory of a deceased loved one or in honor of someone, or for a special occasion like a birthday or wedding anniversary. We send an acknowledgement card to the individual or family letting them know of your gift to Habitat. You may use our donation form to make these donations. Matching Gifts
Do you work for a company with a matching gift program? (Contact your Human Resources Department to find out if your company participates or to help start a program.) If so, you may be able to double or triple your gift to Habitat. Send us your company matching gift form along with your gift and we'll take it from there. Land
When you donate land, Reading-Berks Habitat can either build on the property or sell it and use the revenue for homebuilding, homeowner education, operations, or endowment. For many individuals and corporations, this is a smart option for disposing of surplus real estate assets. We accept donated land based on specific criteria.
